What We Do
Read

For a child who has never owned a book, one story can open a whole new world. It is not just about learning to read, it is about a kid seeing themselves in a story for the first time, or discovering a place, a character, or an idea that sticks with them.
Reading is where everything else starts. A child who falls in love with books tends to carry that curiosity into the classroom, into conversations, and into the way they see the world. That is why literacy is the first pillar of everything we do.
What this looks like
Free books given directly to kids who do not have any at home
Community book drives that collect and redistribute donated books
Reading events and read alongs that make books feel exciting, not like homework
Classroom literacy resources for teachers who want extra support
None of this happens without support. A single donation can put a stack of real books into a real child's hands, often for the first time.
Help put a book in a child's hands.
